Rules

TLDR: Don't be an asshole. Be respectful, play fair, follow the rules. Violators will be punished accordingly.

Important Notes

All rules apply across all platforms we operate, including the game, Discord, website, wiki and forums.
For regular support, players can use the appropriate in-game support channels, Discord support channels or the forums for suggestions and bug reports.
Punishments may be executed immediately without prior warning if rule violations are suspected.
Please understand that staff members are humans too and mistakes can happen. If you believe you were punished incorrectly you may open a Discord ticket to request a review of your case.
Permanent suspension is to be understood literally: you will no longer be welcome, and any new or future accounts will be permanently suspended on sight.

Master Account / Game Account

You are allowed to have only one Master Account.
This is the account you use to log in on our homepage and the patcher.
You may create as many Game Accounts as you want for in-game use.
After registering, you must verify your email address.
You must also join our Discord server and link your Discord account to your Master Account.
Each user is allowed to register with only one Discord account.
Staying in our Discord server helps us keep your account verified and ensures you stay informed about important updates and events.
If you leave the server, it may cause issues with your access or account status. Staying in the server is strongly recommended.
For your own safety, do not share or trade accounts.
Breaking these rules will result in all excess accounts being banned at minimum.

Fair Play / Harassment / Language

Players are expected to treat each other fairly and respectfully across all interactions on our platforms.
Use appropriate language in all public areas (chat, shops, etc.).

• Listen to the Admins & GMs.
• Do not scam other players.
• Do not hinder other players' gameplay.
• Do not support MVPs (e.g., Heal, Pneuma).
• Do not kill-steal (accidents may happen - say sorry). MVPs are free-for-all.
• Do not impersonate others.
• Participate in events with only one character per player/master account.
• Use English in public channels (global, support, etc.). For other languages, use the appropriate channels.

Depending on the severity of the offense, penalties may include temporary or permanent exclusion from our services.

Toxic Behavior

Toxic behavior in any form is not tolerated.
This includes harassment, bullying, promoting harmful behavior, or supporting individuals or groups that promote harm.
Players are expected to contribute positively to the community and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Any involvement with toxic behavior - whether direct or indirect - may result in permanent suspension of all your accounts.

War of Emperium / Battlegrounds

Players are expected to behave no differently in PvP modes. Fight respectfully!

• Guild icons must be unique, clearly visible, and not a duplicate of another guild's icon.
• Do not deliberately hinder others with friend requests, trade requests, or similar distractions.
• No modifications to GRF files that alter NPCs, character classes, monsters, or headgear sprites (e.g., resizing or changing appearance).
• Guilds are prohibited from negotiating or forming formal alliances with other guilds.
• Players must actively participate in events (WoE/BG). Repeated non-participation, coming unprepared, or deliberate avoidance may lead to permanent exclusion from events.
• Sabotaging your own team (e.g., feeding, supporting the enemy) is not tolerated.

Depending on the severity of the offense, temporary or permanent exclusion from War of Emperium, Battlegrounds, or even the server may occur.

Real Money Trading (RMT)

We never tolerate real money trading, where in-game items, currency, or services are sold for real money.
Any form of involvement (buying, selling, supporting) will result in permanent suspension of all your accounts.

Item Loss at NPCs

Players are responsible for all interactions with NPCs that consume or destroy items, such as selling, refining, enchanting, exchanging or upgrading.
If you accidentally lose a valuable item through an NPC interaction, we will not reverse the action or spawn replacement items.
Always double-check your inventory and store valuable items safely beforehand. Responsibility lies entirely with the player.

Bug Exploiting

A bug is an unintended behavior in the game. Exploiting a bug for personal gain is forbidden.
If you encounter a bug (e.g., unexpected amounts of Zeny, items, or experience), report it immediately.
Urgent bugs requiring immediate attention should be reported directly to the staff.
If exploitation is confirmed, temporary or permanent suspensions may be issued to protect the server.

Botting

Botting refers to any gameplay where the character is not actively controlled by the player.
This includes third-party programs, macros, or tools that perform multiple actions with a single button press.
Only one action per input is allowed (e.g., ALT + right-click is fine).
Any form of automated play will result in permanent suspension of all your accounts.

Hacking

Hacking is the unauthorized manipulation of our services to disrupt gameplay.
Any hacking attempt will result in a permanent ban and loss of all access to our services.

Donation Fraud

Donation fraud occurs when a player makes a donation, receives rewards, and then requests a chargeback to reclaim the money.
Violators will be permanently banned, and their IGNs and email addresses may be made public for safety reasons.
